all of which were recorded with Sennheiser MKH8040 and MKH8060 at the same time at 192kHz/24Bit with a Sound Devices recorder.

Discover iconic sounds of some of the most popular 35mm SLR cameras ever made. Timeless SLR’s is full of excellent mechanical sounds, captured at 192kHz, thus allowing you extreme pitch shifting and any further processing, which makes it perfect for sound designers.
It was recorded with two excellent Sennheiser microphones at the same time: MKH8040 and MKH8060.
MKH8060 sounds a bit brighter and was recorded from 2ft away.
MKH8040 sounds a bit more beefier and was recorded from 1ft away.
Collection features tons of sounds, captured at different angles and performed differently. You’ll find sounds such as: motorized cannon auto winder, mechanical LOMO self timer, steampunk sounding Pentax film winder, shutter curtains recorded at multiple different speeds, all the cranks, dials, knobs and switches, self-timer beeps, aperture clicks, lens screw ins and unscrews, dry fires, loading film sequences, advancing film with open back, rewinding, doors opens and closes, rollers and more.
All SFX have baked-in Soundminer’s and Soundly’s meta data.
